Here are my mid-week driver rankings for this week’s NASCAR Cup race at Charlotte. I compiled them by crunching:
- The loop data for the past 15 Cup races (excluding Daytona, Watkins Glen, Sonoma and Talladega);
- the loop data for the past four races;
- the loop data for the past four races at Charlotte;
- the loop data for the past eight races at the other tracks in the Large Ovals track group (i.e., Fontana, Kansas, Atlanta, Texas, Chicago, Michigan and Kentucky);
- the practice and qualifying data for the past four races at Charlotte; and
- the practice and qualifying data for past eight races at the aforementioned Large Ovals.

These rankings mean nothing to have the #48 sitting 9th at one of his best tracks,with the pressure on and last week strong run is ridiculous to me, not saying hes gonna win but dont bet against the #48 sitting 9th as u say
Why not wait until the race is final to make such a claim, for all you know the 48 could be involved in a crash and end his day.
